**About the role**
It takes thousands of people to deliver an election and the Field Staffing team is responsible for managing the temporary workforce that makes an election possible. Reporting to the Manager, Field Staffing, the Project Advisor (Field Staffing) is responsible for delivery of important projects and activities relating to the temporary election workforce.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Project management of large-scale multi-phase bulk recruitment projects and continuous improvement projects related to the temporary election workforce
- Policy and procedure development relating to the appointment, recruitment, management, and performance evaluation of the temporary election workforce
- Election delivery support for administration and management of the temporary workforce during election events

**What you'll bring to the role**
- Demonstrated experience contributing to the delivery of projects, with a sound understanding of how processes and resources must be coordinated and closely managed to achieve results within strict timeframes
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks or projects and competing deadlines
- A proactive and “hands-on” attitude to project work
- Ability to take the lead and work autonomously, while also working effectively as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to establish and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships

HR or workforce management experience would be highly desirable but is not essential. Election experience is not essential for this role - if you have the right skills, we want to hear from you
