Maroondah City Council has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Change Specialist to work within our Cyber and Technology Service Area.

**In this role, your key responsibilities will include**:

- Design and deliver a strategic change management plan that aligns and delivers the Cyber and Technology’s program objectives.
- Proactively Identify and address resistance to change while fostering a positive mindset towards the change.
- Effectively manage stakeholder relationships, strategically plan and implement strategies to ensure the program activities and changes are aligned with delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Effectively design and monitor execution of key change management planning deliverables such as the Change Strategy, Stakeholder Analysis, Training and Development Plan, Change Readiness Assessment, Change Proposals, Communications Plan, Impact Assessments.
- Design and oversee training programs to equip various staff with required skills.
- Establish and monitor KPIs related to change management success and report on the progress and areas of improvement.
- Proactively represent and advocate for inclusion of individuals impacted by the change in all program and stakeholder meetings ensuring their perspectives are incorporated in program activities and decision-making processes.
- Conduct key change activities including workshop planning, content development and identification of participants.

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, Change Management, Organisational Psychology, and/or related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience as a Change Specialist working on IT and Business change programs, supporting strategic initiatives.
- Proven experience as a Change Specialist in complex ICT projects such as Enterprise Resource Planning implementation projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing a complex and diverse group of stakeholders and aligning them to program objectives.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs.
