An exciting 12-month contract opportunity exists for an Assistant Marketing Manager to join the Consumer Cards Growth Marketing team. You will be focused on and be passionate about driving profitability and engagement of our lending treatments across the entire Proprietary Card Services portfolio. Planning and delivering the day-to-day development and execution of marketing campaigns to our existing customers base, highlighting our lending products with the aim of delivering growth in lending on the card.

This role will suit someone who enjoys a diverse, fast-paced team, focused on building the future of American Express through innovating Card Member value and increasing Card Member engagement.

**How will you make an impact in this role?**
- Strong collaborations with the local and Central Lending Product teams, as new Lending treatments are launched and enhancements made to existing treatments.
- Consultancy with internal partners, central teams and agencies to deliver on lending campaigns and adhoc projects that impact our treatments and campaigns.
- Delivering best-in-class, data-driven marketing communications to grow product usage.
- Liaise with external creative agencies to ensure quality of work and on time delivery of creative assets
- Track campaign effectiveness and overall results against benchmarks to optimise and enhance campaigns as required
- Project management of back-end system enhancement to drive improved channel performance
- Maintaining market awareness of both competitors and technological advances to analyse, plan and develop future Lending communication

**Qualifications**:

- Marketing / business tertiary qualifications or the equivalent demonstrated ability in Marketing
- Digital Marketing and campaign management experience
- Superior Project management skills - proficient at time management and campaign co-ordination
- Superior multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail and an ability to prioritise optimally
- Solutions driven individual with superior analytical, creative and problem solving skills
- Strong communicator with experience managing multiple stakeholder relationships
- Ability to drive results and innovation in a fast-paced, dynamic and sophisticated environment
- Superb relationship leadership skills including demonstrated ability to develop long-term partnerships and influence internal and external partners to drive business growth
- Must be a team player and customer advocate
- Knowledge of Credit Cards, services and benefits, and/or understanding of the Financial Services Industry viewed favourably
- Dynamic, positive and energetic attitude and work ethic
