People and Culture Coordinator

**About the role**
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic People and Culture Coordinator to join our small People and Culture team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and coordinating a range of activities to deliver quality HR services to our people across all aspects of the employee lifecycle. If you have a passion for working with people in an autonomous environment and are wanting to grow and develop your HR skills, this is the perfect role for you.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead the recruitment activities by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
- Coordinate all onboarding activities including pre-employment background checks, reference checks and preparing employment contracts, offer letters, position descriptions and new hire documentation.
- Conduct new employee inductions and regular check-ins to ensure our new people have a great onboarding experience
- Partner with Finance to ensure the payroll processes run smoothly
- Coordinate employee exit processes, including conducting exit interviews and coordinating offboarding activities
- Maintain and update employee records
- Partner with ICT and Marketing to ensure timely updates to information across our internal and external sites
- Manage the work health and safety reporting
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements
- Maintain employee confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
- Support People & Culture projects, such as employee engagement initiatives, learning and development, work health and safety, employee lifecycle programs, and policy development
