As GenesisCare enters another exciting growth phase here in Sydney, we are thrilled to announce that we are now recruiting for our brand-new Oncology Clinic set to open in Campbelltown in early 2024.

The integrated cancer centre which is expected to open in early 2024 and will offer access to radiation therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, haematology, clinical trials, allied health care services, and the future plan includes seeking to open a theranostics service.

The building is designed with the aim of being one of the first 6-star health centres in Australia and includes a wellness pavilion on the top floor.

This means we now have an exciting opportunity for a Unit Leader to join our team of experts

What you’ll do:

- Responsible for leading a team of Radiation Therapists on site.
- Undertaking associated duties ensuring the correct and safe administration of radiation therapy procedures.
- Demonstrate a strong team and patient focus, which includes passion for improving both patient experience, and individual and team performance.
- Ensure all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a timely manner.
- Lead the support of staff in education, research and development opportunities.
- Contribute to the implementation of efficient & effective Centre workflow processes and evaluate and implement continuous improvement initiatives as identified.
- Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the Centre and across the practice.
- Actively support and champion GenesisCare initiatives to improve culture, quality, efficiency and effectiveness, taking on a leadership role within projects where required.

Who you are:

- Current registration with AHPRA and EPA licence
- Demonstrated current technical competence and leadership in all areas of radiation therapy.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated understanding of quality improvement processes and change management.
- Demonstrated focus on the patient experience.
- Demonstrated commitment to Genesis Cares Vision and Values.
