Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, they are seeking an expereinced professional to lead the Insurance activities in the business.

**Insurance**
- Deliver successful insurance FINPRO (30/4) and General Lines (30/9) renewal with key insurable risks covered within risk appetite
- Undertake the day-to-day management of the Group’s insurance programs, including claims management, asset loss prevention and new/emerging insurance issues and opportunities
- Introduce, execute and continuously improve processes, systems and controls that assist the Board and the Executive Leadership Team to recognize and adequately manage insurable risks and insurance related issues.

**Enterprise Risk Management - Fire Safety and Asset Protection**
- Collaborate with the business to establish enterprise-wide fire risk management standards, addressing key fire risk observations from insurance engineering surveys
- Assist operational business teams with asset protection risk management activities including provision of risk training and awareness programs, participating in risk workshops and provide advice and support in relation to the creation and update of risk mitigation plans.
- Continuously champion and promote risk management as an important discipline supporting Group to achieve its business objectives.

**A little more about you**

**Essential**
- Tertiary qualifications in Insurance, Finance or Accounting
- Experience and knowledge of insurance industry dynamics, policy design, policy interpretation, contract negotiation, claims handling, asset loss prevention principles and relationship building skills.
- Understanding of risk management principles
- Understanding of systems design and associated controls.

**Desirable**
- Experience in agribusiness, supply chain or FMCG environment
- Professionally recognized insurance industry accreditation
- Membership of an appropriate professional body
- Understanding of compliance frameworks and systems.

THIS CONTRACT IS TO INTERVIEW AND START ASAP, WORKING ALONGSIDE THE CRO. INSURANCE PROVIDERS AND LEADERSHIP TEAM.

**Job Types**: Fixed term, Contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
