**About the role**:
Australian Country Choice is currently looking to appoint an experienced and capable Human Resource Officer to join ACC’s HR team on the **AM shift - Shift hours are 4am to 1pm. **We are seeking an HR Officer who enjoys working with a diverse workforce, who will bring energy and enthusiasm to our team, and who has the ability to grow in the role. This position is perfect for anyone who is starting out a career in Human Resources, and previous experience in a fast-paced meat processing facility will be a definite advantage.
- be the first point of contact for employees on Day Shift, providing a one-stop shop for HR support to shift Employees, Supervisors and Managers. The role is high-volume, hands-on, with a high level of employee engagement.
- consistently maintain accurate HR information systems such as Oracle and DHS
- provide recommendations and advice that is compliant with employment legislation, the Meat Industry Award, industrial instruments (Enterprise Agreements) and company policies and procedures.
- build a cohesive team with the alternate Shift HR Officer and broader HR team.
- collaborate with payroll to resolve pay discrepancies.
- Generate accurate reports from HR Information Systems such as Oracle and DHS and provide production departments, on matters such as absenteeism.
- support operational departments with arranging workplace investigations, taking statements and writing reports
- drafting contracts of employment and other HR related documents/letters
- assist with recruitment and selection of skilled meatworkers.

**About You**

The following qualifications and experience will offer an advantage:

- A Certificate IV in Human Resource Management or a similar field of business, psychology, or a related field.
- Fluent second language (for example Mandarin)
