**Specialist Experience Designer (mid-level) - Open Banking (in Everyday Banking Domain **)

**6 Month fixed Term Contract**
- You are Digital Product Designer with skills and experience in UX and UI design
- This role will give you the opportunity to continue work to bring Open Banking experiences to life for our customers - sharing data between Financial Institutions in the Open Data economy
- This role is predominately focused on web-based experiences in Online Banking channels for retail customers and business customers

Do work that matters CommBank is reimagining the future of digital banking and the way we interact with our customers. This Specialist Experience Designer role (mid-level) will work on Open Banking and Safe Data Sharing projects within the Everyday Banking business domain. Your customer-centred design approach will help to create integrated, simple and easy-to-use experiences that bring complex requirements to life in our online banking channels - NetBank and CommBiz
- for retail and business customers.

See yourself in our team Reporting to the Experience Design Lead you will be part of CommBank’s Experience Design Chapter (EDC) comprised of researchers, interaction designers, usability and accessibility experts and UI designers. You will work within a high performing, talented design team who will support you as you grow your capabilities with design complexities.

**On any given week you will**
- Help to deliver projects autonomously with help and oversight from the Experience Design Lead
- Use data and exploratory research to understand the customer needs and business drivers behind the experiences you’re designing, to deliver measurable outcomes
- Create and share artefacts across the end-to-end design process - user journeys, wireframes, high-fidelity UI and interactive prototypes including detailed documentation
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure design assets and specifications fit with their requirements, including Product Owners and Dev/Engineering teams, some based remotely

**We are interested to hear from people who have**
- Strong knowledge of customer-centred design, spanning UX and UI design, and balanced with commercial acumen
- Experience in Regulatory/Compliance projects with a focus on meeting regulatory commitments
- Strong communication skills with demonstrated success presenting complex concepts in a simple, clear and persuasive manner
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills when working in partnership with technology and business (Product Owners, Dev/Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Legal and Compliance representatives)
- Experience designing for complex, transactional consumer interfaces (web-focused)
- Strong skills and experience with Figma/FigJam and the ability to work to work with an integrated design system
- Experience using collaboration tools like Confluence to work with delivery partners in agile squads
