**The Opportunity:
**The Ranging Insights Analyst for Metro role will support the Merchandising team in delivery of the signature “Picked By You” range requested by customers and operations. The role will provide insights to Metro Category Managers to ensure ranging decisions are timely, commercially viable and do not erode planogram integrity or operational metrics. The role will support a deeper understanding of what is important to the Metro customer via the Picked by You program and work collectively to deliver this Metro signatory offering.

**Whilst bringing to life our company values of “team first culture” and “we care deeply”, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring store and customer requests are actioned within our target SLA of 48 - 72 hrs, engaging stakeholders in the process
- Providing category managers and store teams with insights (such as dashboards) based on the performance of Picked By You lines ranged to their store/category
- Establish a data and reporting cadence alongside the sharing of insights with Buying and Store Teams
- Providing stores with guidance on optimal location for range to ensure planogram integrity and operational metrics
- Establishing guardrails for maximum range per store/category in store to ensure improved VOC and commercial outcomes
- Establishing guardrails around state based DC & DSD restrictions, sharing key deadlines, coaching stakeholders on processes and delivering a seamless process flow
- Partnering with Milkrun to establish ranging opportunities aligned to Picked By You opportunities, sharing key insights aligned to the local customer profile
- Advising stores of substitute lines if/when current range is discontinued by the business, working with Category Managers to ensure a consistent experience for the Metro shopper
- Work with Brand & Marketing to amplify the Picked By You message in store, providing insights on the commerciality of the program and the optimisation of customer loyalty Coach stakeholders on Picked by You purpose, processes and how to optimise commercial outcomes

**How this will be delivered:
- Leveraging system knowledge to range customer requests within our target SLA
- Analyse and draw meaningful insights from the shopper and commercial data
- Work with relevant teams to build, report and maintain analytics around performance for key stakeholders
- Liaise with micro space to support guardrails in regards to planogram integrity
- Determining best practice for ranging with micro space, replenishment, operations and commercial teams, partnering with one range universe project outcomes to integrate Metro into the Supermarket ranging and space processes, optimising so as to maximise opportunities the program can provide
- Creating strong actionable plans with our key stakeholders (especially category managers and store teams) that build advocacy for Picked By You Influencing and collaborating with supporting stakeholders to drive results

**Experience:
- Comprehensive commercial buying systems and procedures knowledge - desirable
- Strong quality analytical experience
- Strong organisational skills so as to be able to align to business priorities
- Ability to influence cross functional stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes with the ability to coach and gain alignment
- Confidence to deliver commercial results and act with pace
- Strong & engaging communication ability, including written and verbal demonstrating the ability to communicate insights from data, storytelling and simplifying the complex adjusting to meet the needs of the target audience
- Self driven, with ability to coach, mentor and hold effective meetings
- SAP & BY experience preferred but not essential Intermediate excel skills
