**THE ROLE**

This position will have an important supporting role in the establishment of policy positions,
management of correspondence, support of evaluation and delivery of research projects for
addressing sustainability in the management of the social housing portfolio.
Homes Victoria is currently delivering the Big Housing Build, which involves $5.3 billion worth of
investment in new social housing and investing over $600 million in the maintenance and
upgrade of social housing.
The role will sit within the Sustainable Design Team, which is responsible for policy and strategy
related to environmental sustainability for Homes Victoria across the asset lifecycle.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**

1. Contribute to the development and provision of advice and sound policy recommendations
to senior management and government.
2. Undertake research and contribute to the development of a range of policy and initiatives
within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
3. Assist the monitoring and reporting on high priority issues, risks and trends and assist to
prepare and present comprehensive reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency
submissions on complex issues.
