An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the **Total Tools Brooklyn **team as a** Purchasing Officer**. This position will suit a detail orientated professional, with experience raising purchase orders in a retail business. You will have the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders, whilst building long-term relationships.

**What will you be doing?**
- Monitoring and maintaining stock levels, whilst developing strategies to address slow moving stock in line with company budgets.
- Processing credits and returns with our supplier network.
- Drive profitable inventory performance.
- Overseeing and processing daily purchasing requirements.
- Checking replenishment orders as required.
- Supporting stocktakes and associated reports.
- Maintenance of ongoing aged and deleted stock and acting as required.
- Liaising and engaging with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including store management, store inventory teams, suppliers, and reps.
- Coordinating interdepartmental activities and off-location promotional programs.

**Does this sound like you?**
- 3-5 years' experience in a similar role in a retail business
- Ability to multitask and re-prioritise day-to-day priorities within a dynamic, fast paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to build relationships and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Experience with Pronto would be highly regarded.
- Good computer literacy - with intermediate MS Excel skills
