About your new role

As a Territory Manager for Cleanaway, you will play a crucial role in developing, maintaining, and expanding relationships within the construction and demolition industry. Your responsibilities will include:

• Target new business opportunities within the construction & demolition waste sector
• Conducting face-to-face new business development activities.
• Developing and nurturing relationships with current and prospective customers.
• Driving our sustainable approach to waste management in new areas to support growth initiatives.
• Developing and implementing sales strategies to improve sales growth.
• Reporting accurately and timely on business activity for your territory.
• Maintaining your CRM (Salesforse) with client details and following up on leads.

Your skills and experience

While knowledge of the construction industry is beneficial, we value a go-getter attitude and passion for sales above all. Key qualifications and attributes include:

• The ability to tailor your communication style to the different stakeholders and customers that you meet.
• Business development experience
• A current driver’s licence and reliable car
• Resilience and persistence
• Strong account management skills and the capability to form solid relationships
• Ability to work on your own and manage time effectively
• Proven experience meeting sales targets
