**Total Tools Brooklyn** is looking for a **Full-Time Warehouse Receiving Assistant**, who has a real passion for tools & trades. This is an exciting opportunity for you to utilise your current skills and experience within a growing and diverse business.

This position will suit a motivated individual with strong attention to detail and a focus on customer service. Working with a variety of team members and customers, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build solid, long-term relationships.

**Customer Service**
- Serve customers in store
- Provide advice and information on products
- Handle customer queries, in person and over the phone, and offer solutions
- Process sales transactions
- Create and despatch customer special orders and item delivery
- Handle & supplier order queries, in person and over the phone, and offer solutions
- Support store staff by providing information on orders/ETA’s to assist with customer service
- Place items on order for special customer orders
- Monitor online customer orders and ensure courier pick up

**Receiving**
- Check all deliveries received against delivery docket upon receipt
- Ensure the details on invoice (product descriptions, quantity & price) match exactly to purchase order
- Unload orders and unpack
- Move stock to designated areas on the sales floor or store room in a timely manner
- Forklift operation
- Arrange for goods delivered in error or incorrect goods to be returned to suppliers, liaising with the Office Manager
- Notify the sales person responsible and customer when goods for customer orders are received
- Raise supplier warranties monthly for returns
- Check backorders daily and follow up, when necessary, with suppliers
- Maintain all paperwork in relation to stock, ensure it is received/returned and forwarded to the office daily, and paperwork for new orders is obtained to match against deliveries

- Previous retail and/or trade experience - you might be a retail star, or a tradie looking for a break from the tools
- Has worked with, understands, and has a passion for tools
- Enthusiastic, highly motivated, and a phenomenal teammate
- Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service
- Comfortable with technology - computer literacy is a must
- Available for weekdays, weekends, and some public holiday work
