**NRMA Parks and Resorts is seeking an experienced Group Sales Manager to oversee its **Southern** Holiday Parks and Resorts. This is a new opportunity for an **ambitious Sales Manager looking to make an immediate impact** across a growing portfolio of Parks and Resorts.**

**Our stunning Parks and Resorts in Greater Sydney and surrounds** **will be your base,** matched with travel to some of the most iconic tourism locations in Australia.**

**NRMA Parks and Resorts is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the NRMA - keeping people moving for 100 years. Our expanding portfolio of owned and managed holiday parks currently features 47 holiday parks and resorts.**

**The Role**:
Based from home, and our NSW Parks and Resorts, predominantly in greater Sydney and surrounds, reporting to the Groups Sales Manager - National Lead, the successful applicant will be responsible for proactively hunting for and securing new group business, selling within the allocated region by developing new relationships and delivering new leads within key market segments, working closely with the Groups Sales Executive to ensure the conversion of new leads, while maintaining a calendar of proactive sales activities, calls, site inspections and tradeshows which deliver a constant pipeline of sales opportunities and ultimately, living and delivering the “best in outdoor hospitality” experience.

Key elements of the role include:

- Identifying new opportunities, generating new enquiries, securing repeat business, and maintaining the sales pipeline for group business opportunities
- Building and maintain strong working relationships across key markets - education, sporting, corporate, faith/community and caravanning
- Reviewing forecasts and developing and executing sales strategy plans to meet shortfalls
- Takeing ownership of the performance of group segments reporting on key metrics and outcomes to the business as required
- Completing monthly analysis of group performance and provide a summary of recommendations to improve long term strategies
- Proactively re-engaging old and current business to expand booking opportunities
- Attending industry networking and tradeshows, and positively represent NRMA Parks and Resorts
- Ensuring all sales processes and client communications are centrally managed through booking platform - Ivvy and outstanding tasks are managed.
- Establishing and grow a portfolio of clients

**About You**:

- 3+ years in hunting / new business development role, with a strong track record of successfully delivering results (hospitality experience would be ideal)
- Demonstrated experience in managing the full Group Bookings process
- Understanding of sales process and conversion strategies
- Existing relationships established in some or all key focus target markets - education, sporting, corporate, faith/community and caravanning
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- The ability to travel to our parks and resorts as required
- Proven experience in a similar role in the accommodation sector (desirable)
- The ability to bring your own leads for group business into the role (desirable)
