**Principal Project Officer**

**About this role**

The Principal Project Officer leads and manages a project team to develop, deliver, monitor and evaluate a portfolio of strategic projects, to achieve project outcomes, and support achievement of organisational objectives.

The role plays a critical role in developing and implementing the policy, procedures and metrics to effectively measure and monitor the performance of procurement and suppliers to NSW Health.

**Crown Clerk 11/12**, salary from $134,411 - $155,445 (plus Super and annual leave loading).

**What you'll be doing**

You will lead a team who will develop the frameworks and metrics to analyse, monitor and assess the effectiveness of category strategies and supplier performance for NSW Health.

**About you**

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:

- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing project teams to deliver key projects, initiatives and outcomes within a public sector environment
- Demonstrated experience in implementing strategies and tools for the continuous monitoring and evaluation of projects and services including risk and contingency management, benefits realisation to identify and address issues and assessment of project progress and overall effectiveness
- Developed EQ with the ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders to drive engagement and maximise participation in project
