Wintringham is a specialised non-religious not-for-profit welfare organisation. We are committed to providing older people who are at risk or have experienced homelessness with a range of high-quality care, housing and services. We employ more than 1,000 staff across Victoria and Tasmania
**Your new role**
**Your responsibilities and duties will include the below**:
- Understanding and adherence to Wintringham’s Code of Conduct.
- Ensure duty of care to both clients and staff is adhered to at all times
- Ensure privacy and confidentiality is adhered to at all times.
- Complete/review client file documentation across program areas to ensure timely and accurate recording of information
- Monitor service delivery for quality
- Utilize relationships within sectors to assist access into other services and system
- Promote a non-institutional philosophy within the programs by recognising and promoting the rights of clients

- A qualification in Social Work, Social Sciences, Welfare or equivalent
- Outreach skills including the ability to locate and establish rapport with both socially isolated people and people with challenging behaviours.
- Experience in working effectively and sensitively with a broad range of clients, including those with high support needs and challenging behaviours
- An understanding of the Housing and Homelessness Service sector My Aged Care, NDIS and other relevant service systems.
- A current drivers licence, and reliable vehicle
- Proven commitment to excellence, accountability and innovation in best practice service delivery in the fields of homelessness and housing support.
- Well-developed communication skills and the ability to engage with people from varying backgrounds.
- First Aid Certificate
