Australian Pinnacle Tours is part of the Pinnacle Travel Group. The Pinnacle Travel Group is the largest and most awarded tourism operator in Western Australia.

We have openings for full time, permanent part time and weekend only positions for **Reservations Consultants** with exceptional and enthusiastic customer service to join our dedicated and motivated Reservations Team based at our retail office at Barrack Street Jetty in the Perth CBD. (Perth Sightseeing Centre) As a premier tourism operator, our retail office operates 7 days a week.

This role's purpose is to accurately and efficiently process booking requests on a daily basis from clients; ensuring our same day response time is adhered to. Consultants will develop effective and on-going relationships with national and worldwide clients, accommodation and tourism attraction suppliers whilst maintaining the expected highest levels of customer service and Pinnacle Travel Group brand standards. As this is a retail office there is significant face to face customer contact and direct sell of day and extended tours with our customer base international so multi-cultural understanding and sensitivity is paramount. An impeccable telephone manner is also required.

Daily, you will be responsible for the following:

- Confirming bookings in our Customlinc reservations system
- Ensuring daily contact with agents to quote bookings and prices
- Ensuring daily contact and communication with product suppliers
- Ensuring all booking requests are responded to efficiently
- Daily banking and consolidation of takings
- Face to face direct sales and customer service
- Telephone inquiries and customer service
- Other responsibilities as directed by the Reservations Manager
- Facilitating early morning coach dispatch (rostered)

We are looking for someone with:

- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel
- Experience in working in a team environment
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a reservations environment is preferred although not essential
- High level experience and knowledge of Western Australia
- Excellent telephone manner
- A passion for providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to work rostered shifts between office hours of 07.00-17.30

Essential requirements;
- High degree of fluency in English
- Current unrestricted working rights for Australia
- Unrestricted 7 day availability including Public Holidays
- Unrestricted working availability between 18-31 December (rostered)

Additional positive requirements;
- User and configuration knowledge of Customlinc
- Knowledge or fluency in a 2nd language

Applicants must be able to work rostered shifts - Monday to Sunday between 6.45am and 6.00pm with the ability to have the after hours phone for reservations calls if the occasion is called upon (remunerated). The role is office based in Perth CBD and also involves assisting at our departure location at Crown. Periodic work from our head office in Malaga may also be required.
