About Us
The People and Culture Office (PCO) is an integral part of the business strategy and decision-making process. We are a team of collaborative HR professionals, focussing our efforts on strategic and operational programs and services that support staff and organisational objectives.
This role provides an opportunity to work and collaborate with a variety of talented and welcoming colleagues, within our team, while serving as a consultant and implementation specialist to the academic leaders for all aspects of human resources.
The Role
As the People and Culture Partnerships Manager you be responsible for leading and coordinating the People and Culture Partnerships Team. You will serve as a consultant and implementation specialist to senior leaders on all Human Resources (HR) issues. Through collaborative partnerships across the organisation you will deliver value add HR service to achieve the strategic objectives of the University.
What you’ll bring to this role
- A Human Resources tertiary qualification or equivalent experience,
- Significant experience in contemporary HR practice and procedures as well as leading HR and change projects,
- Demonstrated experience in partnering with senior leaders and demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills,
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, including, motivating, engaging and developing others, and;
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the proven ability to effectively persuade and influence others to achieve strategic outcomes, including the demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative fashion, building trust and credibility through positive working relationships and outstanding client service.
- Superior written communication skills in order to compose and deliver reports and recommendations at high levels, policy development, implementation and review.
