C4I Solutions is actively seeking a highly experienced ICT Strategic Planner to support the Directorate of Multinational Relations and Interoperability (DMRI) within the ICT Operations Division (ICTOD) with Strategic Planning Services.
This role offers an initial 12-month opportunity with 2x 12 month potential extension options

**About the role**:
- The requirement for these Services is due to the J7 function within DMRI which is responsible for the definition and development of Allied and Coalition Interoperability (ACI) strategy and concepts, planning and prioritisation of materiel and non-materiel ACI capabilities to be acquired, delivered, brought into service and decommissioned in the long term (2 to 8 year timeframe).

Lead the effort on behalf of SJ6 and DMRI to address the following stated priorities of CCEB Principals:
Re-posturing the CCEB to focus on future policies and technologies that enable a shift from network centric security to a data centric security model.
Strengthening CCEB participation and influence in relevant mission-based interoperability initiatives including: the US Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2); BOLD QUEST and US Mission Partner Environment (MPE) Interoperability Initiatives (MII) to experiment and prove data centric ways of operating.

**Contribute to**:
the CCEB capability development and architecture efforts including the intent to engage, influence and leverage of CJADC2, US Mission Partner Environment (MPE), Federated Mission Networking (FMN) initiatives
the capability coordination and prioritisation of activities and actions aimed at promoting partnerships and information exchanges in the Indo-Pacific including South-West Pacific & South-East Asian nations,
the capability management and development of AUS instantiation of enduring coalition initiatives and systems such as BICES.
Develop the Future ACI/DACIS strategy and implementation plan
Engage, influence and contribute to the AUS DoD functional areas such as FID, Data Division, WNA (JCG and WSO), ICTAB involved in Data centricity and implementation efforts
Lead the progress and implementation of J7 specific recommendations and actions from HICTO sponsored ACI submission to DCIS committee
Shape, influence and secure CIOG, SJ6 and DMRIs ICT2309 enhanced Multi-National Information Sharing (eMNIS) equities

**Required Skills/Qualifications**:
- A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related discipline.
Several years of relevant work experience in Defence ICT strategic planning, enterprise architecture, IT project management, or a related area.
Strong working knowledge of the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM)
Ability to develop and implement ICT strategies aligned with business objectives.
Familiarity with IT governance and risk management frameworks, such as ISO 27001.

**Essential Criteria**:
- Must hold a AGSVA Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance (NV1)
