**The role**
Reporting to the Head of Fertiliser the position is responsible for implementing and managing the CBH Group’s Fertiliser sales and marketing strategies; monitoring the suitability of CBH Fertiliser suite of products and services, ensuring they continue to meet grower needs; standardising business processes to support the achievement of fertiliser targets; the effective management, training and development of Fertiliser and BRM staff.
The Fertiliser team at CBH group had a significant increase in sales last year and a new storage facility has just opened, this is a great opportunity to join the team during an exciting expansion phase.
**Key responsibilities**
- Develop sales and marketing plans focusing on growth for existing and new customers
- Develop and execute annual plans for both Fertiliser and Regional BRM teams to support sales targets
- Contribute to product development at the strategic planning phase and ensure that effective execution is delivered including communication education and training to the team
- Continuously monitor product fit and performance to improve grower value to the M&T grower client base, report back to the business and make recommendations for improvements
- Provide regular analysis of competitor activity across Western Australia, review competitor product offerings and provide input into CBH Fertiliser competitive responses. Foster the collaboration between the Business Relationship Manager Fertiliser and BRM teams to create a cohesive unit.
- Implement and manage strategies to ensure Grower/Transporter and Community satisfaction through introduction of NPS surveys
- Implement and manage long term fertiliser strategies in all CBH geographical regions to support specific business initiatives or identified opportunities
- Enhance efficiency and grower experience in transacting with CBH Group through standardising Promotion and Delivery of CBH Products and Services
- Oversee planning processes to ensure consistency and Fertiliser targets are achieved nationally.
- Represent CBH Fertiliser at regional events and industry forums
- Provide weekly/monthly sales reports on Fertiliser performance including at individual and BRM level
**Skills and experience**
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing/Sales, Agri-Business or Agriculture or significant on the job experience in a similar role
- Proven track record of successful customer relationship management with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Indepth understanding and working knowledge of the Fertiliser industry
- Demonstrated experience in building and leading effective teams.
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of competency with Microsoft suite of products and other relevant systems
