**Job Summary**:
The purpose of this role is to be responsible for Tier 2 Support of the Optus 5G Network Core and Cloud where the Clouds will be based on container-based Kubernetes Cluster

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Minimisation of negative customer experience by rapid resolution of incidents, driving problem management, governing change, and driving accountability in conjunction with Managed Service teams.
- Incident management and support to agreed MTTR critical metric.
- Ensure effective Incident and Problem Management and working with the Operations Managed Service to drive out faults and determine underlying network problems.
- Revenue protection and customer experience protection through quick resolution of billing issues and customer impacting incidents and through the reduction in fault rates across the respective network across the cloud infrastructure and 5G Core.
- Working collaboratively with customers for lifecycle management inclusive of upgrade, update, expansion, feature and capability introduction and the respective planning and running with no service impact of the 5G Core and Cloud Infrastructure

**The Skills to pay the bills**:

- Significant Experience in Mobile Technologies and Service Operations (10+ years)
- Understanding of the Australian and Global Telecommunications environment
- Experience in the current 3G/4G RAN and Mobile Core technology (hardware/software) and how these technologies will evolve
- Solid knowledge in CCS7 signalling standards, VoIP signalling standards as well as SIGTRAN standards
- Significant experience in a technical work team with a wide variety of complex functions in a high pressure and under-resourced environment
- Experience in managing technology, vendors and the delivery of projects within time and under budget
- Solid detailed knowledge of domestic and international roaming mobile networks, their architecture, configuration and operation
