Procurement/contract Support Officer

Melbourne, Australia Hudson Australia Full time

Hudson is looking for two full time experienced Logistics Support Officers to work alongside the team and provide support for procurement and all logistics requirements.

The role is on a full time basis, 5 days per week during the contract period to assist in providing co-ordination and delivery support to Operations and to assist with ongoing project deliverables.
The role is based in Melbourne CBD.

**Please note you must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Baseline Clearance to be eligible for this role**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare, under limited guidance, the necessary documentation for procurement activities, such as Registration, Procurement Plans, Approach to Market, Tender Evaluation Plans and Evaluation reports
- Assist in managing the movements of stock items from suppliers to the Agency and to/from its central stores and other locations around Australia
- Arrange and track official orders against supplier contracts and updating of relevant schedules.
- Provide support in planning, reporting, reviewing and execution of activities.
- Liaise with Subject Matter Experts to gather procurement requirements, coordinate funding and prioritise workloads.
- Ensure all purchasing activities are conducted in accordance with the Agency's purchasing policies and Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
- Assist with the coordination of assets, including obtaining quotes and invoicing, through to asset disposal.
- Perform other related administration and support duties as directed
- Demonstrated previous experience in a similar role (procurement, contract management, logistic space)
- Delivers on intended results and outcomes
- Strong attention to details
- Administrative experience
- Excellent computer skills and experience using the MS Office Suite.

This is a 6 months contract, with potential for extension.
