**About Us**:
Working in partnership with the NSW Government, the Parklife Metro consortium is working on an exciting new metro rail infrastructure project in Greater Western Sydney.

Comprising, Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens and Webuild, the private sector partners are looking to build their metro rail expertise to deliver this city-shaping project, which will be delivered under a Public Private Partnership model and will provide a major economic stimulus for Western Sydney.

We are currently looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor - Civil Architectural to work within the Technical team reporting to the Technical Manager

**The Opportunity**:
The Quantity Surveyor will be appropriately managing bill of quantities, take off quantities, contracts administration and the claims, variations and payment authorisation processes as required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the compilation of the project’s monthly payment claims
- Assist in the effective administration of subcontracts, including assessment of variations, claims and ensuring timely payments whilst maintaining professional relationships with supply chain
- Conduct preliminary commercial evaluation of tenders from subcontractors and appraise bids by liaising with Project Managers and Engineers to assess bids
- Provide quantity surveying for contractual claims and final accounts
- Keep accurate and complete records and ensure the various document control registers are kept updated

**Criteria**:
A construction management, building, engineering degree or equivalent coupled with extensive post-graduate experience in contract administration within the construction industry.
