An exciting opportunity exists for a junior Sales Executive to join a leading and long established lighting manufacturer based in Sydney's Northern Beaches.

The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate an understanding of sales and customer service in B2B sales, hospitality, design or related retail environments (lighting retailer, high-end furniture or similar). Whilst some sales experience is important the desire to intimately learn the product range and develop long-term, meaningful client relationships is what will see you excel in this role.

Supported closely by the Head of Global Sales you will be trained and taught advanced sales techniques upon commencement to ensure your success. The role will initially involve calling lapsed and prospective customers within the restaurant, hotel and resort sectors. You will be advising them on the current product range, determine opportunities for product demonstrations, provide quotes, process orders and provide general sales and customer service support to their valued customers and prospects.

- General understanding of the sales process, comfortable cold calling senior decision makers and asking for the business
- Comfortable meeting with prospective clients face-to-face and conducting product demonstrations
- Ability to learn a large product range and clearly articulate features and benefits
- Sound computer and administrative skills to update client information in the CRM (HubSpot), compile quotes and process orders
- Naturally extroverted and enthusiastic
- Desire to forge a career in the lighting sector whilst expanding your sales abilities and professional development

The successful applicant will be afforded one-on-one training with the Head of Global Sales, a supportive team environment with a great culture and genuine career development opportunities as the sales team continues to expand.
