**About the Role**:
Reporting to the People and Performance Business Partner, this is a full time, permanent role based at Canning Vale Industrial Area. The role will be responsible for a wide range of people related activities including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, induction process, coaching, leadership development, and projects.

The role will work with all parts of the business and will be well supported by the both the P&P Business Partner as well as the Head of People and Performance who leads the function.

To be successful in the role you need to be willing to roll up your sleeves and understand our business including walking the factory floor in our seafood processing factories, supporting a culturally diverse workforce, be willing to talk to anyone, as well as be a strong contributor to our values and organisational goals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the recruitment process for both professional and non-professional roles across Australia including developing recruitment briefs with supervisors/hiring managers, advertising, shortlisting, screening, interviewing and reference checking.
- Upskill supervisor and hiring managers in interview technique and processes.
- Develop people analytic tools as required to provide insights to the business.
- Complete compliance checks, arrange preemployment medicals, conduct VEVO and license checks, follow up inductions and police clearances.
- Manage the onboarding and induction processes, including development and maintenance of documentation and tools, payroll set-up etc.
- Maintain the recruitment database, including maintenance of a talent pool; Prepare employment contracts and employment-related documentation.
- Build strong consultative relationships at all levels; Assist with providing advice, coaching and guidance to hiring managers.
- HR tasks including but not limited to monitoring deadlines of visas, service anniversaries, probation periods, preparation of employment confirmation letters, service certificates, training and supporting employees to effectively utilise the HRIS & on-line systems etc.
- Assist with interpretation of industrial agreements and awards.
- Contribute to HR policy, procedure, and process updates.
- Contribute to key organisational development and change projects as required.
- Any other duties necessary to ensure the responsibilities of the role are executed.

**Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualification preferred but not mandatory
- Experience in Recruitment
- Ability to build relationships and influence key stake holders
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Highly detail orientated
- Well-developed planning and organisational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team, able to manage and refine own workload
- Can do attitude
- Sound experience with Microsoft Office Suite
