Our Procurement and Supply chain lead will be a hands-on, proactive relationship builder with an eye for detail and an analytical mind. With experience working in a fast-paced, complex, dedicated team, our PSC lead will deliver our procurement and supply chain functions in a fast-paced, extremely lean, challenging regional operating environment.

**Where you come in**:
In this full time position, based in Melbourne you will lead the effective and efficient delivery of support services to the wider organisation around fleet, travel, and procurement. You will be part of a small but dynamic team working to build and mature the procurement and supply chain function for the group. You will be part of our Property and Procurement team and report to the Head of the department.
- You will make an impact by: _
- Identifying and relationship managing our strategic, critical and partnership suppliers
- Developing strategies for key spend and engage closely with business stakeholders to execute on these strategies
- Establishing pricing and performance standards through contracts with suppliers
- On-going review of current supplier agreements and identify opportunities for improved delivery and/or cost effectiveness
- Negotiating commercial terms and executing agreements
- Identifying and leading procurement-based cost reduction strategies across the organisation
- Assisting in the delivery of consistent procurement procedures across Australia and the Pacific

- This role requires:_
- A minimum 5 years’ experience within a similar role
- The ability to lead cross functional groups to define strategic and operational outcomes
- Demonstrable experience developing community of practice for procurement across multiple stakeholders
- Significant experience in an environment involving high levels of change and complexity
- Ability to develop, review, reengineer and optimise procurement and supplier management processes
- Strong collaboration and demonstrated experience partnering with multiple business units to deliver change
- Strong analytical skills - the ability to analyse complex financial data and design and produce effective management information
