**Your new role**:
- The RMH Best Practice Consortium Lead (BPCL-RMH) is a key role in the Collaborative Centre consortium. Working in partnership with UoM Research team and other Collaborative Centre colleagues, the Best Practice Consortium Lead shares responsibility for effective establishment of the Collaborative Centre. The role includes oversight and support for mental health project officers, and ensuring that research projects are effectively operationalised and deliver against required outcomes. The BPCL Lead will play a key role in relationship development within the public mental health service system, and build on existing relationships with community providers. This position requires a strong values alignment with consumer and carer lived experience discipline in mental health and knowledge of the values, principles, frameworks, legislation, research, and best practice models of care, which support the recognition, inclusion and collaboration with carers, families, and supporters as ‘core business’ in mental health service development and delivery.
- The position reports to the General Manager, RMH Mental Health Services.**About you**:
- You have highly developed interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, and evidence of effective stakeholder engagement.
- You have extensive experience working in public mental health service delivery environments in a leadership capacity.
- You have demonstrated organisational and management skills in a multidisciplinary mental health setting, including the ability to manage human and financial resources, capacity for strategic thinking and project or portfolio leadership experience.
- You have experience in research or evaluation, preferably within a service delivery environment.
