**Job Description**:
At the Ibis Sydney Darling Harbour, we are currently looking for an enthusiastic Front office person who is ready for your next step or are looking for a change of scenery to join our Front Office Team as an Assistant Manager. Reporting directly to the Hotel Manager, your primary responsibility is ensuring a high level of guest service at all times across the hotel.

**As an Assistant Manager, your tasks and responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to the following**:

- Ensure smooth day to day operations of the Front Office with Guest check-in/check-out, billing, guest requests and other tasks
- Manage and assist when necessary in other areas of the hotel ensuring safety and smooth operations
- Offer leadership and training for the team
- Actively resolve complaints and challenges presented by guests

**Qualifications**:

- An ability to “sparkle” our guests and your natural bright and bubbly customer service style is what sets you apart from the rest
- Have the necessary skills and training for complaint handling
- You have an outcome driven approach to performance and results and are able to manage multiple tasks
- You have experience in Opera, Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate

This is a FT 38 hours/week role, and will require flexibility to work AM/PM shifts and weekends.
