**The Service**

Located in Karabar, New South Wales near the ACT border, **KU Queanbeyan South Early Learning Centre **provides long day care services for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old, Monday to Friday.

KU Queanbeyan South has **staff parking onsite, **and is a service whose passionate team care for children with an emphasis on an inclusive environment where children feel like they belong and are encouraged to play, discover and learn.

The service also provides a full preschool program, assisting children and families with the transition to school.

**The **Role**

We are looking for an educator with a **completed **certificate III qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care who values partnering with families, is keen to further develop their skills and wants to join a capable and dedicated team.

**This is a permanent full time position which will see you working Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day on a rotating roster while accruing **ONE **monthly 'Rostered Day Off' (RDO).**

**To be considered, you must have**:

- Current Employee Working with Children Check.
- Work rights to enable you to work in Australia
- Current Child Protection Training
- Recognised Certificate III in Children’s Services or similar as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Quality Authority (ACECQA)
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
- Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
- Professional level of written and verbal communication skills
- Current knowledge of Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
- Demonstrated computer literacy skills
