**About the Role**

As a Graduate - Supply Chain you will be responsible for performing tasks involved in the formation and administration of orders for equipment, materials and services. You will communicate with suppliers and personnel within Bechtel to establish clear definition of requirements, and to assure performance to order terms and conditions.

Preparing bidder pre-qualification, bidder lists, bid solicitation, bid analysis, makes commitments and administers orders you will assist with implementation of project supply chain procedures and coordinate or monitors the completion of administrative tasks. You will also monitor and conducts inquiries into areas of supplier performance as assigned.

**Key Responsibilities**

Forms and issues orders by performing the following:

- Maintains working relationships with project Supply Chain personnel, project discipline personnel, other functions within the organisation in order to perform assigned duties.
- Maintains working relationships with those bidders and suppliers involved with the performance of assigned tasks.
- Prepares bidders’ lists
- Prequalifies bidders
- Forms bid package
- Issues bid requests
- Coordinates bidders’ questions
- Receives bids
- Prepares Commercial Bid Summary and recommendation letter
- Recommends and secures approvals in accordance with established procedures
- Prepares and commits orders

Administers assigned orders, performing the following functions:

- Gather and compile support data for the preparation of documents and the administration of orders.
- Prepares and maintains control and status reporting documents
- Establishes files and controls for all outgoing and incoming correspondence on each assigned order.
- Monitors supplier performance for conformance to commercial terms.
- Monitors activities by Engineering and other in-house functions to ensure compliance with the order terms.
- Initiates follow-up actions with the supplier or in-house functional group to ensure performance in accordance with contract terms and conditions.
- Informs or works with other project Supply Chain personnel as assigned to the administration of the assigned orders.
- Analyzes and distributes suppliers’ reports specified in the order/contract.
- Organize materials for the preparation of meetings, presentations and training sessions
- Assist in the preparation of periodic status reports
- Communicates with suppliers as necessary to achieve required service and results from potential and actual suppliers to meet project needs or personnel from other functions within the organisation.
- Communicates with other from within the organisation to assist and/or guide them in the preparation of requisitions for the procurement of materials and equipment and services and to achieve the understanding needed to process these requisitions.

**Essential Experience**
- Knowledge of business administration procedures, techniques, and business ethics.
- Skilled in oral and written communication.
- Some basic knowledge of contract types, terms and legal requirements.
- Some basic knowledge of law, negotiations, accounting or cost engineering gained through education or experience.
