The Coordinated Client Support (CCS) Branch manages a range of programs and services to assist our clients access supports to meet their health and wellbeing needs, such as access to mental health and social health programs as well as additional targeted assistance to navigate the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) services and link in to other agencies’ programs.

**Duties**

Within CCS Branch, staff in APS5 Complex Case Manager roles can be required to perform tasks within the Business Support Officer responsibilities.

**Eligibility**
- Applicants must be an Australian citizen to apply.

**Desirable**
- Experience in client-facing roles, and an understanding of the needs and challenges of DVA's clients.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively liaise and collaborate with different business areas.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, and the ability to effectively multitask, prioritise, and escalate as needed.
- Strong administrative skills
- Skills in co-ordinating large volumes of work using established processes. The role will also contribute to development and implementation of new processes to improve practise.
- Demonstrated initiative and motivation to achieve timely and quality outcomes.
- The ability to work quickly and independently
- Broad knowledge DVA's claims, business processes and corporate systems (VIEW/ISH/aDVAnce/Defcare/CADET/Process Direct/SVoP) or the ability to quickly obtain this knowledge.

**Notes**

This recruitment process is being used to fill ongoing and non-ongoing positions.

A merit pool of suitable applicants may be created which may be used to fill future ongoing and non-ongoing vacancies should they become available over the next 18 months.

Where a non-ongoing position is offered, the role will be filled for a specified term of up to 18 months. A specified term may be extended up to a maximum period of 3 years.
