**The Challenge**
As the Scheduler for Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance (EMM) you will be responsible for the work schedule for EMM internal resources and contractors. You will have a primary focus on short term outcomes while also developing future schedules including coordination of internal and external resources.
**What you’ll do**:
- Work closely with Planners, Field Supervisors and centralised dispatch teams to understand priorities and balance resource constraints.
- Be able to commit to a start time of 6am daily in order to meet operational requirements for this position including reviewing overnight reactive work and upcoming schedules and communicating changes to field teams
- Work to help embed and improve planning and scheduling capability at Hunter Water including supporting the implementation of a new work management system (IFS)
**What you’ll need to be successful**:
**Essential Criteria**:
- Proven positive work ethic and a desire to proactively improve workforce management through the implementation of digital solutions
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in scheduling and/or work planning, preferably in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Experience working with computerised maintenance management systems, preferably for 4 plus years in prior roles (i.e. Ellipse, IFS)
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team
- Class C drivers licence
**Desirable Criteria**:
- Relevant trade qualifications (Mechanical or Electrical)
- Working knowledge of IFS, FSM and PSO
- Working knowledge of Ellipse or a similar ERP/Asset management system
