This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Contact Worker, who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of families & children, to join our Children's Contact Service team.

SVN requires Contact Supervisors to cover the Waterloo area.

About the Role

The tasks for Contact Supervisors include:

- Ensure the safety, welfare and wellbeing of the child/ren they are supervising
- Identifying ways to enhance interactions between the child/ren and family
- Monitoring and recording details that are relevant to the wellbeing and welfare of the child/ren.

The applicant for this role requires a strong commitment to supporting children and families during difficult times.

Criteria

Tertiary qualifications relevant to working with children, e.g. psychology, social work, welfare,
- Minimum diploma qualification
- Experience working with children
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Current drivers licence and own reliable motor vehicle
- Excellent observational and writing skills
- First aid certificate or willingness to undertake such training

Remuneration

$40-$65 per hour + superannuation

Applicants are required to hold or will to obtain a Working with Children Check before any employment opportunity.
