About the role
- Assist in the continual operational efficiency of Patient Support Services in meeting organisational goals through the co-ordination and provision of quality training and development.
- Ensure staff compliance with policy, procedures and guidelines through the monitoring of staff competency, data integrity, organisational standards and identification of staff training needs.
- Develop and co-ordinate training and staff development of Patient Support Services staff, to ensure operational efficiency.

About you
- Conduct, assess, plan, coordinate and evaluating learning and development activities for all Patient Support Services Staff using internal and external training methods and options.
- Develop relationships and networks internally to promote and provide training and development services to others.
- Ensure the effective development and maintenance of all training and induction materials, including coordinating all mandatory and essential training requirements with relevant service providers.
- Participate in yearly Performance and Development Plans through the provision of feedback as required on staff training and development needs.
- Maintain thorough records of staff training needs, records and reporting documentation with the management and maintenance of the Patient Support Services Training Register and required reporting tools.
