Join our small Brisbane team as an internal furniture rental showroom sales assistant and have variety in your role plus not work weekends or public holidays.
Pabs Furniture Rentals is one of Australia-s leading furniture rental businesses, providing furniture packages for the purpose of selling property and for the use in the relocation market, short or long term.
Based at our modern Hendra showroom and warehouse, we are seeking an internal showroom rental & sales assistant with an interest in the furniture rental / retail industry (preferred but not essential). This role is perfect for a person who enjoys variety in their work, enjoys delivering customer service, has genuine selling skills, offers creative solutions through an interest in the furniture industry all here internally at Hendra.
The successful applicant will need customer service, sales and organisational skills and enjoy working within a small team.
A genuine interest in the furniture industry, property styling and the household furniture industry would suit the applicant as you will be working with home owners, agents, relocation consultants and Property Stylists in store assisting with selecting furniture for their homes.
The successful applicant will need:
Experience in retail sales or rental industries.
A customer service focus with great work ethic.
Self motivated with strong organisational and time management skills.
A positive hands on approach to gettingcompleted.
Furniture industry experience preferred but not essential.
The ability to work in a team environment.
The successful applicant will be rewarded with a competitive hourly base salary plus a generous monthly sales commission and super.
Full time position, 38 hour working week no weekends, no public holidays.
Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm or similar to suit the right person

**Responsibilities**:
Create and supply written quotes and verbal.
Assist internal walk in showroom customers.
Customer order preparation through face to face selections.
General retail /rental sales tasks in a showroom environment.
Internal Showroom / Warehouse Customer Service.
Internal and external Phone sales, quoting and service.
Some business development and outgoing sales work.
Boxing, selecting customer orders as required, pick & pack
- Warehousing
Showroom & warehouse display and styling.
This is a very hands on role desk, showroom, admin, and warehouse
