**Job Description**:
**The Role**

We are seeking a Principal or Associate Director Sustainability Consultant in our Brisbane Office with a proven capability in delivering solutions across a range of project scales, clients and sectors. Our Brisbane team comprises a group of passionate and engaged professionals and seeking to add an experienced and like-minded collaborative individual to the team.

For this role you will bring a strong technical background in sustainability in a particular area, possibly linear infrastructure or vertical buildings projects. You will be able to demonstrate how you have led projects through strong leadership whilst mentoring and developing other staff. Most importantly you will bring a desire and passion to influence the Environmental, Social and Governance outcomes on large projects that will have a material impact on the future of our society. You will help deliver on our ScopeXTM promise to reduce our clients carbon emissions by at least 50% as part of our Sustainable Legacies ESG strategy.

**About You**
- 10+ years’ relevant professional experience;
- Experience providing leadership in Sustainability in a particular sector or industry.
- Strong communication skills - both verbal and written, including the preparation of technical design documentation, tender materials and client presentations
- A passion and drive for a sustainable future, continuing professional development and fostering industry change - you are known by your peers as a “carbon crusade” - someone who cares about the outcomes
- Ability to coach and mentor team members and grow their consulting and technical skillsets;

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor degree in Science, Engineering, Architecture or similar - advantageous;
- Leadership in some of the core assessment tools, Green Star, NABERS or Infrastructure Sustainability.
- A strong knowledge of relevant legislation, building and planning codes, notable sustainability policies and standards (e.g., Victorian Health Building Authority) and environmental rating and assessment systems.
- Understanding of low and zero carbon design and WELL ratings.
