- Currently we have a great Manager - Environmental Services in place. We now need an experienced
- **Principal Consultant ESG & Sustainability** to provide further technical expertise and expand our offering. You’ll have the opportunity to work on projects from a range of commodities across the various phases of a project life cycle, through to operations.

**What does this role involve?**

As
- **Principal Consultant ESG & Sustainability** you will assist our clients to better understand and develop solutions that respond to the complex and evolving policy, regulatory, and business environment risks and the opportunities associated with ESG, Sustainability and Decarbonisation.
- As the role grows and develops, you could expect to:

- Engage with clients to understand key drivers and support proposals as we work to support their outcomes
- Develop sustainability and ESG programs and related reporting
- Lead and deliver ESG and sustainability related projects, and sustainability-related evaluations of design options during studies and engineering
- Support development of client relationships and business development efforts to build profile and provide credibility for ESG and sustainability services
- Proactively promote your profile and expertise in the industry to complement Sedgman’s brand profile as an ESG and sustainability leader
- Conduct fieldwork / site investigations, data analysis and report preparation.
- Lead selected innovation projects, with focus on reducing impact of designs, and quantification of new technology impacts such as power, energy and lifecycle impact reductions
- With the Manager - Environmental Services, organically build the team, leading and mentoring others

- You have experience, knowledge and capability equivalent to a Principal level, preferably from mining or related industries
- You are technical. You know ESG and sustainability reporting, auditing, metrics and lifecycle analysis
- You are a collaborator and relationship builder. You can develop partnerships, influence others and business development comes naturally with your passion for what you do.
- You are a project manager. You can successfully lead and deliver projects with multiple contributors.
- You understand communication is key in consulting and have well-developed report writing skills
- You are willing and able to travel to site and other offices as required
