As Procurement Governance & Operations Manager your focus will be to work with the Head of Procurement and key stakeholders across the business to develop, deploy, maintain, and monitor compliance across all procurement policies, standards, processes, and tools. Support in the ongoing development and implementation of a risk-based contract management framework to support contract management disciplines.

You will;
- Create an automated, online or self-serve solutions to simplify purchasing processes and make them more efficient and drive positive outcomes
- Develop and deploy a risk-based contract management framework (in conjunction with SRM Manager & Procurement Specialists) to facilitate categorisation of KPMG’s contract portfolio into different risk tiers.
- Support Implementation of a VRM System and drive efficiency and risk mitigation strategies across Medium risk categories
- Drive the improvement, standardisation, compliance and efficiency of procurement policies, standards, processes, systems and tools
- Consolidate Monthly Category reporting and dashboards for stakeholders
- Develop and provide visibility on compliance, risk and spend analysis reporting across our supply base
- Manage effective communication of and compliance to our procurement policy with all stakeholders
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on procurement audit matters
- Manage a Supplier Due-Diligence program, including Modern Slavery assessments and program.
- Lead the co-ordination and reporting of the annual Procurement Program of Works, including all initiatives planned for the year to achieve the procurement benefits target
- Provide direction, coaching, supervision, and training to direct reports, driving continuous improvement and building team capability to improve delivery of value to the business.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with ability to influence and promote positive change
- Experience in wider procurement functions and understanding of procurement deliverables, with sound understanding of best practice procurement
- Ability to make the complex simple and influence through effective storytelling
- Proven analytical, logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
- A high level of personal integrity, with respect and empathy for others
- Experienced people manager with strong coaching skills and a natural ability to inspire and motivate to achieve excellence.
