**About the role**

An exciting entry-level role for recent graduates. This role will provide you with extensive on-the-job training. You will experience Purchasing & Inventory operations, to become a well-rounded professional in the future. Reporting to the PIC Team leader, you will gain mentoring and support, and exposure to a wide range of projects and areas.

This role is suitable for recent graduates in business management, purchasing, mathematics, economics, warehousing, and distribution.

**On-site full-time Role.**

**Key Areas and Responsibilities include**:

- Local Purchasing: Requesting quotes for inventory & noninventory items required by the business.
- Converting purchase order requests and sending purchase orders to our local supplier.
- International Purchasing: Requesting quotes for inventory items required by the business.
- Converting purchase order requests and sending purchase orders to our international supplier.
- Expediting: monitoring open purchase orders and expediting these with suppliers to meet customer & business demands.
- Logistics Coordination: Co-ordinating with our international freight forwarders & local freight companies to ensure the successful delivery of products to meet customer & business demands.
- General administration: updating our systems in support of your tasks being performed

**About you**

To be successful you will need to have the following skills and background.
- Exceptional communication skills with an ability to communicate clearly at all levels across the business and with suppliers and customers (verbal and written).
- A strong work ethic and drive to get things done.
- Have advanced Excel skills.
- Be organized with excellent prioritization skills and the ability to resolve competing priorities and think creatively.
- Be able to follow current processes and procedures.
- Australian working rights.
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical.

**Salary**: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- BRENDALE, QLD 4500: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
