**About the Role**

**_ This is a full time (70 hours per fortnight), closed period contract until June 2025. This role will be based on the Brunswick Heads in the Byron Shire._**

As the Program Coordinator, you will manage the program and lead a small, dedicated team who provide support to flood-affected community members who were displaced, into their long-term accommodation within the Brunswick Heads Community Village.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Lead and manage the day to day operation of the Brunswick Community Village program and team, ensuring we meet funding requirements, ethical and professional standards
- Understand and collaborate with the Community as well as key stakeholders and funding streams
- Supervise, support and manage the Brunswick Village team members using evidence based tools
- Lead and support quality casework practice within the program
- Actively work with other service providers to ensure strong referral pathways within the community

**About you**
- Relevant qualification with Social Services/Community services with relevant experience within the Community sector with previous experience of leading a team
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of child protection issues, and the ability to address these issues with families
- Knowledge of early intervention and community development.
- Understanding of the homelessness sector key stakeholders within the community
- Contribute to program development and evaluation including reporting
- Experience in managing income and expenditure within budget
