**About this opportunity**

Pacific Smiles Group has a fantastic opportunity for an additional Centre Support Officer to join the team in a permanent full-time position based at our Dentist Support Office at East Maitland opposite Stockland Greenhills shopping complex. The office is newly refurbished, bright, welcoming and has free onsite parking. This position would suit a forward-thinking team player who is ready to take on a new challenge

Our Centre Systems Support team are responsible for managing the administration of our Patient Management System, Dental for Windows (D4W). We set the Centre Leaders up for success and drive the relationship with them, supporting them to adapt to improvements we deliver, enhancing Practitioner support, system efficiency and patient experience.

**About the responsibilities**

In this position, your daily priorities will change to meet the demand of our Centres needs to ensure smooth service delivery for our patients and our Dentists who choose to practice with Pacific Smiles Group. You will champion relationships with Centre Leaders as your key stakeholders and participate in Centre Systems Support and interdepartmental improvement projects.

Your main duties include:

- Processing patient refunds, account corrections and health fund overcharges
- Data entry
- Becoming a Dental 4 Windows superuser and trainer
- Interdepartmental improvement projects

**About you**

You don't need all the admin and system skills or even have knowledge in Dental or Health funds, we can teach this part What we are looking for more than anything is a positive and vibrant team player who understands what it takes to operate in a customer centric environment where the needs of our patients, Dentists and Centre Staff must come first.

To be successful in this role, you have:

- Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with others to help the group accomplish goals
- Effective time management to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule
- Identify problems or opportunities to improve processes and support
- Handle dissatisfied customers by hearing them out, empathising and resolving
- Experience using Dental 4 Windows Practice Management Software advantage, but not essential
