**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct in-depth investigations of aviation incidents, analysing technical data and determining the scope of damage.
- Prepare comprehensive reports to inform insurers on potential liabilities.
- Assess repair schemes and negotiate fair claim settlements.
- Collaborate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate resolutions.

- Ad Hoc duties: Your key accountabilities will include such other duties and tasks as allocated, at the discretion of management, and that are within your capabilities and the scope of your role.

**Essential Qualifying Criteria**:

- Holder of a current UK CAA/EASA/CASA B1/B2 (or equivalent) aircraft maintenance engineer's license with at least 5 years of certifying experience on any of the following: commercial airliners, business jets/helicopters, and general aviation aircraft.
- Completion of an Aircraft Maintenance Apprenticeship or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of work experience in an aircraft maintenance environment. Managerial experience would be beneficial.
- Experience in aircraft structural repairs on large commercial, business, or general aviation aircraft, ideally including helicopters.
- Possess first-class English communication skills with a confident and personable demeanour.
- Impeccable fluency in written English for preparing both technical and non-technical reports.
- Willingness to travel overseas frequently, often at short notice.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team.

**Desirable**:

- International experience with hands-on aircraft maintenance in AOG situations.
- Additional language (s) relevant to the Asia Pacific region
