Main Responsibilities


- Lead detailed investigations of intricate aviation incidents from an insurance standpoint, utilizing your extensive industry background.

- Analyze aircraft technical data, repair plans, and claim amounts critically.

- Negotiate claim resolutions strategically, using your expertise to achieve the best outcomes.

- Produce thorough reports that clearly outline insurers' responsibilities.

- Engage in collaboration and foster strong connections with all involved parties.

- Uphold and promote the core Charles Taylor Values by ensuring Agility, Integrity, Care, and Accountability and Collaboration.

- Additional Duties: Your responsibilities will also involve tasks assigned at the discretion of management, within your role's capabilities and scope.

Essential Requirements:


- Demonstrated experience as an international Aviation Surveyor.

- Comprehensive understanding of the global Insurance industry, with a well-established network.

- Ability to independently assess and analyze complex claims.

- Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong negotiation abilities.

- Possession of a current UK CAA/EASA/CASA B1/B2 (or equivalent) aircraft maintenance engineer's license with minimum 5 years of certifying experience on various types of aircraft.

- Completion of an Aircraft Maintenance Apprenticeship or equivalent.

- At least 10 years of work experience in aircraft maintenance. Managerial background is advantageous.

- Experience in structural repairs on large commercial, business, or general aviation aircraft, including helicopters.

- Willingness to travel frequently abroad, sometimes on short notice.

- Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Proficiency in additional language(s) relevant to the Asia Pacific region.
