- HANs are valued members of the healthcare team and work under the direction and supervision of the Nurse Unit Manager, Registered Nurses and/or Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to provide Safe, Timely, Effective and Person-centred care to our patients and their families.- We are looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative Health Assistant in Nursing to join our vibrant Emergency Department team at The Royal Melbourne Hospital.**Why work with The Royal Melbourne Hospital?**

**Your new role**:

- Participate in patient centred care, ensuring the personal needs of our patients are met.
- Assist with transfers, ambulation and visual observation.
- Support with other patient related services including equipment and stock maintenance.
- This role is included in our rotating 12-hour shift roster and includes night shifts and weekends, 7 days per week.

**About you**:

- You have completed a Certificate III in Health Services Assistance.
- You have previous experience in the healthcare setting.
- You are organised and work well in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- You are committed to providing great patient centred care.
