- We are currently recruiting for both Acute and Subacute wards. These wards include; Haematology and Oncology, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Aged Care and Rehabilitation.

**A day in the life of HAN**
- HANs are valued members of the healthcare team and work under the direction and supervision of the Nurse Unit Manager, Registered Nurses and/or Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to provide Safe, Timely, Effective and Person-centred care to our patients and their families.
- HANs work within clearly defined parameters, the role itself is often flexible and involves a mixture of direct care and other activities that support the nursing team:

- Participate in delegated care relating to patients activities of daily living, ensuring that the personal needs, dignity, and comfort of patients are maintained
- Provide constant observation to patients at risk of harm to self/others
- Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary health care team to achieve the desired patient outcomes.

**What you'll need to succeed in any of our vacancies**:

- Minimum 6 months experience in an acute healthcare setting or at least 1 year experience in a subacute/aged care healthcare setting
- Must be able to commit to a 7-day rotating roster of AM, PM and ND shifts
- You are compassionate, caring and have the mindset to make a difference
- You are ready for a new challenge or wanting to commence your career in a hospital environment
