Reporting to the Group GM of Financial Crime (FC) Solutions, the **Head of Financial Crime Solutions and Innovation** is responsible for leading the design and implementation of digital transformation across the FC function. This key role will drive continuous improvement across FC through the use of data and technology whilst ensuring Crown is able to manage its financial crime risk and regulatory commitments.

**This role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne.**

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Implement Financial Crime Operations (FCO) and Financial Crime Risk (FCR) capability framework and roadmap. This includes ongoing refinement and prioritisation with FCO/FCR and facilitating engagement with Group Technology as required for high level requirements and delivery of technology solutions
- Conduct ongoing market research/vendor shortlisting to identify and enable innovative solutions within FC and RGO
- Support FCR with FC data SME including but not limited to Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment, Customer Risk Assessment model validation, issue/event management data analysis
- Ensure record keeping requirements are maintained for FC technology solutions
- Provide people leadership, coaching and mentoring for other members of the FC Solutions and Innovation team
- Ensure compliance with and adherence to all relevant legislation requirements and Crown policies

**Key selection criteria**:

- Experience working in a financial crime risk management and/or regulatory environment
- Extensive experience in the design and implementation of financial crime technology and/or data initiatives within the financial services and/or gaming industry
- Extensive and practical experience implementing FinTech/RegTech in a large organisation
- Extensive senior stakeholder management experience including the ability to balance commercial, risk and technology related priorities
- Advanced leadership and coaching expertise including project and change management
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the regulatory environment within which Crown operates
- Qualifications or degree (or undertaking a Degree) in a relevant discipline (e.g. Information Technology, Business Management; Law; MBA etc.) is desirable
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required Casino Employee Licences
