**About the role**
As Resource Recovery Driver Trainer, you will be part of the Ipswich Waste Services team, and will provide operational direction and advice in the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and coordination of training for Resource Recovery Employees.
Some of your key responsibilities will be to provide:
- Provide advice and support to relevant stakeholders to facilitate, develop and embed a positive and sustainable culture of safe work practice
- Coach, train and (re)assess Resource Recovery Employees
- Regularly perform inspections, observations, audits, and evaluations
- Develop and deliver driver development programs by producing education material aids and conducting/coordinating courses for Resource Recovery Employees.
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Current 'HR' Class licence
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or/and substantial years of relevant experience applied within a waste fleet operations environment
- Pride yourself on your safe operating skills
- Be passionate about a clean and sustainable Ipswich for the future
- A pre-employment medical will be required for this position (Including drug and alcohol testing)
**What's on offer?**
This is a permanent full-time position with a salary commencing at Grade 6 - $97,134 to $103,605 plus superannuation of up to 12.25%. Employment is under the Ipswich City Council Officers’ Certified Agreement 2021.
