Your impact as Product Quality Specialist*

We're looking for a Product Quality Specialist to join our team here in Hobart. As Product Quality Specialist you'll be making a meaningful contribution to the quality and reliability of Procreate. We support millions of users around the world and we strive to provide personalised support to every user. You'll need to be an excellent communicator with the ability to understand people and the nature of their problems. You'll form a deep understanding of the software and how it works and have the opportunity to experiment and test it on a daily basis.

This role sits within the Product team and reports directly to the Head of Product Care, Aimee Stubley. You'll work directly with other Product Quality Specialists, Engineers, Designers and of course, with Procreate users globally.
**Areas of focus**
- Logging and resolving technical bugs.
- Learning and testing new and existing software
- Working closely with Software Testers, Engineers and Designers to understand technical issues and form timely solutions
- Using Procreate software on a variety of Apple devices and OS versions to ensure consistent user experiences.

**The skill set**
- Experience with Apple hardware/software
- Analytical in approach and solution oriented
- Self-starter with ability to drive own workflow
- Organised and methodical in approach to tasks
- Experience in a similar role in a technical environment
- Attention to detail and genuine passion for user experience
- Familiarity with a range of software and platforms including, App store, Procreate Folio, Shortcut, Xcode and various social media channels

**in 1-3 months, you will**:

- Complete our onboarding process and become familiar with your colleagues and our workplace culture and tech stack
- Familiarise and become comfortable with the platforms, systems and processes used in the Product Care department

**in 3 - 6 months, you will**:

- Develop a thorough understanding of Procreate
- Work closely with the customer care team to investigate user issues

**In 6 - 12 months, you will**:

- Take initiative to explore and recreate reported bugs, crashes and other product quality issues
