**How this position will Make the Difference to City of Melbourne**

This position supports venue operations, customer service, bookings, facilities maintenance and the development of administrative systems, processes and procedures and sits in the Creative City Branch within the Community Hubs team. Based at Library at The Dock, the position may be required to work at other facilities under the auspice of the Libraries. This position reports to the Community Animator.

- Demonstrated understanding of venue management, operations and booking systems and Health and Safety, OHS and building management systems.
- Demonstrated excellent organisational and time management skills, high level of initiative and independence.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication and customer service skills including developing various written materials and communications, having the ability to negotiate with and between diverse individuals, groups and customers,
