- ** Employment Type: Labour Hire - **ASAP Start until 31 July 2023 (with a potential for extension)**
- ** Hourly Rate : APS4 $40-$48 | APS5: $50 - $58 (Plus Superannuation)**

**About the role**
We are seeking a suitably APS4 and APS 5 Finance Officers to join Federal government agency to process their large volume of financial transactions (e.g. vendors registration, purchase orders, payments and receipts) into the SAP Financial Management Information Systems (FMIS) over the busy end of financial year period from May to July 2023. You may also assist with preparing the Division’s end of financial year (EOFY) accrual pack and post-EOFY audit activities.

**Mandatory Skills and Experience**

**Applicants must have active baseline clearance or higher to be eligible for this position.**
- Have experience in financial operations, including processing grant and procurement transactions in a Financial Management Information System (SAP **_highly desirable_**), or be willing and able to learn financial operations processes quickly.
- Have good communication skills, including the ability to tailor communications to different audiences.
- Be resilient and have a positive approach to teamwork and collaboration, including a willingness to assist team members during peak periods.
- Good administrative, coordination and organisation skills.
- Accounting or Finance qualifications are not essential for this role.

- Enhance your stakeholder management skills by interacting with a broad range of internal (divisional business areas) and external stakeholders (Finance Branch).
- Build your understanding of how government agency divisions interact with corporate areas, other department, agencies and key stakeholders.

**Currently the end of the contract would be 31 July, but this could be extended depending on circumstances.**
